Research Fellow / Postdoc positions - Graph limits and beyond - Ref. No. 2025/23
The Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences is seeking a postdoctoral researcher
to join the GACR-funded project Graph Limits and Beyond. The project focuses on dense graph limits and related areas such as inhomogeneous random graphs and hypergraph limits.

We offer a position with the following conditions:
- Flexible working conditions, including a negotiable starting date and the possibility of a part-time contract. Funding from GACR is available until the end of 2025.
- Monthly gross salary starting at 52 000 CZK/month based on qualifications and experience.
- Travel funding for conferences and research stays
- Five weeks of paid vacation on top of public holidays; social and health care insurance; child care facilities in the Institute’s building; highly attractive and location.
- No teaching duties.
- Qualifications.
- Ph.D. degree in mathematics, theoretical computer science, or a related field. According to GACR requirements, the Ph.D. must have been awarded no earlier than January 1, 2012. Exceptions (e.g., for parental leave or long-term illness) may be granted following GACR guidelines.
- Strong background in at least one of the following areas: extremal (hypergraph) theory, random graphs, probabilistic combinatorics, graph limits.
- Fluency in English.
